The type of personal information we collect
We currently collect personal identification data including your name, postal and billing addresses, email address, phone number, IP address, and information regarding the pages of our website that you land on and when you did that. If you buy from us, we collect and retain information on the plants and planting essentials that you bought. We do not hold credit/debit card information because it is collected by our card processors who have secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. If you pay by cheque or BACS we will note that on your records but we will not retain any further information regarding your bank account. We collect information during telephone calls with you on your requirements and our recommendations.
How we get the information
You provide some of the data directly such as when you purchase from us and we get some of it by recording how you interact with our website by for example using technologies like cookies.
How your information is used
The main purposes for holding your information are to process any orders that you have placed, take payment and give refunds, train our employees and undertake fraud prevention and detection but we may also use your information to inform you of stock availability, or special offers, ask you to complete questionnaires or surveys, or to notify you of any changes to our services.
